2019 SSD Four Crowns Series Round One Attracts Great Field

The opening round of the 2019 Speedway Sedan Digest Production Sedan Four Crowns Series will be held this Saturday afternoon at the Kellerberrin Speedway located in the Central Wheatbelt of Western Australia.

This weekend’s event doubles as the 2019 PTQCC Production Sedan Open Championships and offers a prize pool of $5000 with some of the state’s best competitors set to do battle.

The series opener was originally meant to be held in early June with organisers having to reschedule the event due to early heavy winter rainfall in the southern half of the state.

Six time SSD Four Crowns Series Champion Barry Rose heads the nomination list as he begins his quest for a seventh series title and fifth in a row aboard his very potent Mitsubishi Sigma.

Kane McDiarmid won the corresponding event twelve months ago and will be tough to beat along with fellow Holden Commodore drivers Rickie Nuccini, Wayne Leviston, Leon Wood and young gun Jayke Malcolm.

Racing gets underway from 12pm on Saturday with a full support program also on the card.
