Jackson Derrick has claimed Round 3 of the JSRA Metropolitan Series, which doubled as the Murray Herbert Cup in spectacular fashion last night at the Perth Motorplex.
Derrick ran away with a dominant victory in the first head of the night after starting on the front row, while Blake Iwanow would win the second heat and final heat race.
Jackson Derrick and Alex Swift would share the front row for the final, with Derrick getting the jump and stretching out a handy buffer over the rest of the field. Blake Iwanow would work his way through the pack to come home in second place with Blake Webb in third.
In the New Stars, Darryl George claimed the 2 heat races for the night, but it was Kayne Dellar who took top step in the feature race, narrowly defeating his sister Chloe Dellar and Darryl George.
Attention now turns to Round 4 of the JSRA Country Super Series at the Quit Collie Speedway on Saturday February 10th 2018.
Nominations are now open and are to be completed through the JSRA website.
