The Fortescue Festival Race Meeting will be held tomorrow night at the Hillview Speedway located in Newman Western Australia some 1200 Kilometres Northeast of Perth.
A solid field of Production Sedans have entered the event with the Fortescue Festival kicking off a big 2017/2018 season of racing for the Hillview Speedway Club.
This weekend’s race meeting will serve as a prelude to the Ash Page Memorial coming up at the Hillview Speedway on Friday 3rd & Saturday 4th November 2017.
Perth based peddler Daniel Flavel is making the long haul and will be tough to beat along with Karratha’s Matthew Peaker.
Local Dennis Moyle endured a tough run at the recent State Title in Broome and will be hoping to make amends this weekend.
Formula 500s and Sprintcars are also on the program with racing getting underway at 7pm.
