With Allan Smallwood Jr
Hi guys welcome to another weekly wrap of Speedway Sedan racing here in Western Australia, there’s lots happening around our fine state at the moment with plenty of sedan racing on tap this weekend.
Great to see that Speedway Sedans Western Australia have decided to hand out a best presented award at every one of their state titles going forward. They have also decided to name the award after Ian Beard, who has been a scrutineer on many state and national titles over the years plus a scrutineer at his home club in Geraldton for well over three decades. “Beardy” as everyone knows him hasn’t been in the best of health in recent times and wish him and his family all the best.
No Winner at the Plex
Unfortunately due to curfew restrictions the A Main for Round Six of the 2017/2018 XLI Pro Dirt Late Model Series was not held at the Perth Motorplex on Saturday Night.
The four heat races were won by Lee Watt, Brent Vosbergen, Jay Cardy and Brad Blake.
Late Models are back at the Perth Motorplex on Boxing Day.
Carter Wins at Bunbury
Nathan Carter collected the Junior Sedan Gold Cup victory for the Top Star Junior Sedans on Saturday Night at the Quit Bunbury Speedway.
The meeting doubled as the opening round of the South West Junior Sedan Championship with Matthew Thomson collecting the New Stars victory.
